ATLAS WINDOWPANEL

The daylight providing system for sandwichpanels in pitched roofs. Highly isolating and without condensation burden.

ISOvideo240ENATLAS WINDOWPANEL has a wide range of options when it comes to the isolating value of the panel, depending on the wishes of the client and the budget. The isolating value of the ATLAS WINDOWPANEL is almost solely determined by the isolating value of the bottom sheet. The standard and most used bottom sheet is a 10 walled polycarbonate sheet with a

thickness of 32 mm and an isolating value of 1,1 W/m²K, which is comparable to that of glass with a high isolating value. A five walled sheet with a X-structure and a thickness of 16mm has a U-value of 2,0 W/m²K and four walled sheet with a thickness of 10mm has a U-values of 2,5 W/m³K. These choices are avaible for all possible core sizes of sandwichpanels as long as the core size is just as thick as the bottom sheet. In case of an acceptable core size it is possible to reach even better isolating values by getting thicker sheets or by stacking smooth multiwalled polycarbonate sheets on top of each other. The video visualizes this process.
